The Beas river offers several rafting stretches in its onward journey through Manali..Rafters can enjoy down stream of around 7 kms or for tough one for 14 kms.the rafting route starts from raison  which is 29 kms away from manali and 18 kms from kullu which is  comlpletly suitable for rafting.Rafting basically starts from the month of april and end towards july.People those who are physically unfit and children below the age of 14 are not allowed to participate.each person is provided with life jacket and a helmet they are even expected to wear a specific dress .Each raft consist of experience guide and helpers .
